The quickest way to access Microsoft Teams is through the Teams app. This can be downloaded at teams.microsoft.com/download. If you are using an iOS or Android device, the app can also be downloaded via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Once you have the app, sign in with your school email address and password.

Remote Learning PolicyGuide to Microsoft Teams

23rd September 2020

This week, all form tutors have set a task for their students to complete on Microsoft Teams. This is a trial run so that we can get a picture of which students can access Teams and which students cannot.

Please support your child in responding to the task set by their form teacher on the ‘Assignments’ tab in Microsoft Teams. The STACS Guide to Microsoft Teams is attached to support you and them. Your child has received some training in form time yesterday and year 7 and 8 will receive further support in their ICT lessons in the coming weeks.

Message for Year 12 and 13

Please see below for the STACS Guide to Microsoft Teams and the Remote Learning Power Point shared with you in form time on Friday.

Guide to Microsoft Teams Remote Learning

Your lessons will run remotely via Teams for the next two weeks so please ensure you log on and access your lesson following your usual timetable. Your teacher will communicate with you via Teams to let you know how your lesson will work. There will be a combination of teacher led sessions, independent tasks and opportunities to give feedback/ask questions.

Please ensure you complete the Online Parent Survey on the website today to inform us whether or not you have internet access and a device on which to access Teams. If you cannot access Remote Learning via Microsoft Teams, a paper work pack will be posted to you on Tuesday.

If you cannot access the website survey and need a work pack, please inform us by calling the school office.

Thank you for your co-operation in ensuring your education is disrupted as little as possible over the coming weeks. We are very much looking forward to seeing you all back in school on 5th October.
