DofE Gold Presentation Awards Reports - December 2018

DofE has been one of the most amazing and memorable experiences I’ve had. The Gold Award Presentation that officially finished my DofE journey, made all the emotional and physical challenges I endured even more worthwhile! The journey has helped me to develop and grow into the person I am today, and has taught me valuable lessons in life, including what my capabilities are. It sure is a personally developing journey, which I would recommend to everyone!

Completing my Gold Duke of Edinburgh journey has truly been one of my proudest achievements. Whilst being one of the toughest challenges I have ever been faced with, it has definitely been the most rewarding. The presentation of the award let me reflect on what I had achieved by completing Gold DofE, and how far I have developed as a person as a result. Looking back, I am so grateful to have been given the opportunity to take part in the programme, and it is something that I will never forget.

Thank you so much for giving me this opportunity and making it possible, and all the other staff involved too! It is something, which at the time is so so difficult, but once you’ve done it, it is honestly the most rewarding achievement. I would recommend it to everybody, even though there were so many tears! We had such a lovely time, and we were all so happy!
